2014 Employee of the Year
Nearly 6 years ago Mike Modde had the opportunity to join the Advanced Basement Systems team. His first role here was to install waterproofing and crawl space products. It didn’t take long to realize that Mike had a gift in the technical world and he was soon appointed as Service Technician - a job in which the ability to fix, maintain and service products of all shapes and sizes is critical.
Mike stayed on the road for Advanced for a few years, working out of an old energy company truck that housed just about every part, fitting and gadget you could think of. He now has an office, which doesn’t travel down the highway, and his job title is Service Manager. Mike works on the phones with thousands of customers and mentors his three Service Techs each day.
Adele in Customer Service talked about Mike’s gifted recollection skills. “We just can’t get over how he can remember almost every detail of so many of the houses he has been into from our list of customers. He has an unbelievable memory.” Those who work alongside Mike never hesitate to ask him about a little detail here or there regarding products and techniques.
