Perimeter drain
Our team installed a perimeter drain on the leaking walls. This drain safely moves water into the new sump pump. This system works with and around existing plumbing fixtures.
Backflow check valve
This home is located in an area prone to sewer backup, so these homeowners proactively installed a backwater check valve. These devices are designed to allow water to flow in only one direction: away from the home and significantly decreases the risk of sewage backup when installed and maintained properly.
Radiant wall barrier
In the unfinished room in the basement, we installed our ThermalDry® Wall system. This product serves as both a vapour barrier and as a way to redirect water leaking through the basement walls into the newly installed floor drainage system.
Powerful sump pump with a battery backup
These homeowners chose the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. This powerful system provides three levels of protection with two high-performing pumps and a backup pump - designed to keep the basement dry even during the heaviest of rains.
A beautifully finished space
In the finished area of the basement, we installed Everlast drywall panels. They're easy to clean and made from inorganic material: meaning they are mould and mildew resistant. This wall system is fully compatible with the newly installed perimeter drain. Each system is installed with a vapour barrier behind it, to direct any moisture from the walls into the perimeter drain.
