Photo Album: Spray Foam Insulation and DC315 - Amherstburg, ON
The bare concrete block walls in the basement caused this home to be less than energy efficient! Making the perimeter walls air tight is a huge help in lowering a home's energy useage- especially during very cold winters! We spray R18 (about 3" thick) closed-cell insulation on the perimeter foundation walls. Once that was cured, our installers spray a thermal barrier over the spray foam. This paint product is required in many cases when drywall is not being installed over the spray foam.
