Local Chamber of Commerce recognizes successful entrepreneurship
CHATHAM, ON-The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce held its 126th annual Business Excellence Awards on Thursday, March 27th, at Club Lentinas. The ceremony celebrates local business and business owners, and also recognizes entrepreneurial spirit and citizenship. The Chamber honored several award winners at the event, all from varied backgrounds and industries.
Advanced Basement Systems received accolades as entrepreneur of the year. Owner Martin Bates said he was “humbled” by the honor. He was quoted saying, “I’m proud of the people who work for me. I’m pleased to bring our business to Chatham-Kent. We can reach our major markets of London, Windsor and Sarnia within an hour. It’s a great location.”
