A Permanent Solution to a Leaky Basement in London, ON

Challenge

During times of moderate to heavy rainfall, this home in London, Ontario experienced flooding on three exterior walls in an area of their basement.

While this part of the basement is unfinished, this area houses some mechanical components of the home and is also used for storage. The owners were frustrated with the constant cycle of water intrusion and the musty, mouldy smell which made its way through the entire home.  

Solution

These homeowners wanted a permanent solution. They did not want to have to think about or see water in their basement, ever again!

We waterproofed the three leaky walls, creating an in-floor drainage system, which moves the leaking water into their new, heavy-duty sump pump.
