Block Walls
Here are the damp, exposed block walls before.
Old Sump Pump
The liner, lid and discharge line (black pipe) are not up to par on this unit. An easy fix for us!
Old Metal Flange System
This two-piece metal flange and drain tile system was not able to handle the volume of water. It also clogged.
Dimple Board System
This old dimple board (Delta) and drain tile not only has an unappealing look, but it is not serviceable! The old drain tile in the dirt is now clogged.
New Sump Pump and Wall Membrane
The new pump is almost finished. Also, the walls have been covered with our Thermal Dry wrap. This gives the basement a nice clean look, also prepping it for being finished.
Basement Drainage
This is Waterguard being installed. The floor will be re-poured back over this. Because Waterguard sits on the footing rather than in the mud, it will not clog. It also has inspection ports to flush the system of silt water will leave behind.
Second Sump Pump
This basement has two sump pump locations. Our Super Sump sits level and prepped for the pump to be lowered in. A nice blue lid will be installed shortly.
Cementing
Foreman, Kevin P. works his cement along the open trench. His Waterguard and Thermal Dry Wall system are in place and look great! This basement project is about an hour from being completed.
