Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Leaked for Decades, Now Dry in Middlesex County, ON
“We hesitated to contact Advanced Basement Systems, we honestly thought fixing our wet basement was a hopeless cause.”
We have heard statements of this type time and again… and since 2003! We are so pleased when homeowners, such as these fine folks, located just west of London, Ontario, take the first step and schedule an inspection.
When a basement has “leaked forever” homeowners are thrilled to learn about our permanent and warrantied solution.
When homeowners “never thought” their basement could ever be dry, they tell their friends, family and write us gracious “thank-yous” expressing their satisfaction, even years after the waterproofing is done.
This gorgeous home in Komoka, Ontario had obvious water intrusion issues for decades. Although the area was only used to house some mechanical components of the home and for storage; the damp, “wet rock” smell penetrated the house most of the year. The homeowners knew the smell likely carried allergens, and they were concerned for their family’s health and the future resale value of the home.
Despite the foundation being a combination of fieldstone, brick and concrete block and existing and mechanical fixtures and plumbing, we were able to expertly install our interior waterproofing system on all the leaky walls. We also upgraded their sump pump and installed an efficient and low-maintenance dehumidifier to keep the humidity at acceptable levels.
We’re so pleased to give these homeowners a healthy, clean and dry basement. We are so happy that they reached out to us.

Diverting Rainwater
The homeowners did their best to divert water far away from the home's foundation... to no avail. It still leaked during even a modest rainfall.
Leaking for Decades
This area of the basement was used for storage. After leaking for decades, the homeowners were used to never leaving anything of value on the basement floor.
