One Crawl Space, Many Problems in Windsor, ON

Problem: These homeowners were experiencing many problems with their home as a result of a poor crawl space environment.

-        Sloping floors as a result of shifting supports

-        The wet crawl space created a musty, damp smell in their house

-        Mould forming on the wood beams as a result of the high humidity

-        Cold floors in the winter months and high energy costs

Solution: This was a big job, involving many important components and we were up for the task!

Our team:

-        Encapsulating the space with our Clean Space® Vapour Barrier.

-        Installed new SmartJack® Crawl Space Support Beam Stabilizers.

-        Replaced a failing support beam.

-        We sealed the exterior vents and added Spray Foam Insulation to some exterior walls.

-        Installed our super quiet, efficient and nearly maintenance-free SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier.
