Block Support Column
Blocks are great for a lot of things, but acting as a support column on a dirt floor under your home is not one of them. Even with a footing as seen here, the heavy concrete won't be deep enough to hold up the weight of the home and will sink into the earth.
Rotted Beam
High moisture content in crawl spaces causes beams to rot and fail. Sometimes, even dry-rot can occur! Woodworking in crawl spaces is expensive and invasive.
Right Under You
This is not a great look space, is it? Well, it's right beneath you and and your family. A proper encapsulation system is needed her.
Ceiling Insulation
The thermal break in a crawl space is the foundation walls, which is where insulation should go! As seen here, insulation of any kind up in the floor system will eventually sag and create an air gap in between itself and the living floor above.
