Step Cracks
Indication of a settling foundation.
Pre-Stabilization
Adam digs the holes just right before the footing can be prepped. After that, the piers are driven into the ground.
Helical Piers
Model 288 Helical Piers are a part of putting this foundation back on solid ground.
Footing Prep
The footing must be notched out in order to place the bracket directly beneath the foundation wall, where it will be the strongest. This maximizes our lifting efforts once all the piers are synched. Andrew and Patrick hard at it!
Wall Shearing
The low horizontal line indicated sheering. Similar to bowing walls, the symptoms are close but as you can see, shearing typically occurs much closer to the footing.
Back-Fill
We use 3/4" clean cut stone as a first layer of back-fill after damp-proofing.
Retrofit Bracket and Cap
This bracket sits beneath the footing. The piers in the ground below this bracket are what support the load.
