Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Mitigation and Sump Upgrade - Windsor, ON

This home in Windsor tested high for Radon Gas levels. We came in to lower them! While there, we needed to ensure the sump was air tight- during that process we upgraded the sump pump and added in our UltraSump4 Battery Back-Up system. We have great results with our Radon Mitigation, lowering levels well below the Canadian standard.

Sump Upgrade

We can see the air tight lid and back-up system. We installed a new cast iron submersible pump, too. Radon mitigation systems need air-tight lids over sump liners.

Radon Fan and Pipe

This is a radon mitigation system. It goes into the basement floor, to draw air from under the floor. From there, it is exhausted outside. They require a very small amount of electricity to operate.
